Summer Skin Care Tips For Women
Skin problems like acne or sunburn are common in summers but it’s not very wise to blame the sun for everything. There are several other reasons as well that lead to skin problems making summer skin care important. We can’t help the weather but we can surely take preventive measures and be summer ready. So, here are a few common but effective measures that can help you minimise if not prevent the problems completely.
Say Hello To Cotton
Cotton clothes are best for summers. They absorb the sweat and keep that sticky and stinky feeling away. They are also light and airy- making you fall in love with the cotton comfort. You are sure to sweat in summers if you are out. Clothes which are not cotton won’t absorb your sweat and may cause acne or other infections.
Scarves or Hats
Apart from using sunscreens the first barrier that you can create between your skin and sun is a scarf or a hat. They protect you from direct sunlight and enhance the effect of a sunscreen. If you are using a scarf be sure that it’s cotton as other materials won’t dry your sweat and may lead to dandruff or bacterial infections. And show off your sexy goggles as much as you can because they will protect your beautiful eyes.
Take Bath Twice
Taking bath twice a day gets you rid of the sweat and hence keeps acne at bay. A cold shower will also make you feel fresh.
Keep Your Sunscreen Handy
This is something that you must keep handy always. Apply a good quality sunscreen with SPF 30 or above at least 30 minutes before leaving the house. Don’t forget to re- apply it every 2-3 hours if you are out.
Lips are precious
Yes, your lips are precious and they need sunscreen too. UV rays don’t spare your lips if you hide them underneath a lipstick coat. Lip balms with SPF 15 are perfect to keep your lips soft and healthy.
